Cesky Krumlov

Cesky Krumlov is a small city in the south Bohemia region of Czechia. Locate on the Vitava River it was built around its 13th century castle, the second largest in Czechia after Prague Castle. A restored medieval city it is noted for its Gothic/Renaissance Castle Clock Tower. While it is possible to visit Cesky Krumlov on a one day tour from Prague I think it needs at least two or three days to have a proper visit. After leaving Cresky Krumlov I travelled to Budapest. However the quickest and simplist route I found was to return to Prague and then travel to Budapest. |
