Chuncheon War Memorial

The Chuncheon War Memorial is on the bank of the Inbuk-ch'on, Chuncheon. It commemorates the Battle of Chuncheon. Stiff resistance at Chuncheon frustrated North Korean plans to envelope Seoul from the west and the south and provided time to set up the Busan perimeter.
