Hi, my name is Ian McNamara. I am an Australian man who was, pre-pandemic, travelling around Asia and Europe. Periodically I upload a page about places I have visited. Pages are image orientated.
Why name the site travellingwheels.com? The name comes from the wheels of the wheelie pack I drag behind me on my travels.
Links to pages are presented as images on the home page.
Moving the mouse over an image displays a description of page content.
The first line links to the last three pages published.
The remainder are in reverse order of visiting the location.
All pages can be accessed from the menu.
Index, About and Gallery pages will load into new tabs.
All other pages accessed from the menu will load into the current tab.
In the gallery section is a least one image from each place I have visited. It is not finished. The main gallery index will contain between 40 and 60 images from Europe and Asia. The remainder are in the Europe and Asia index pages.
Some of the gallery images link to site web pages. The link in the text will load page into a new tab, the link in the image section will load page into the same tab.
Gallery images that link to site web pages can also be accessed from their own page via Gallery/Web Page Gallery from the menu.
Facebook and Twitter (X) is used to introduce my pages.
My YouTube channel consists of videos that have been embedded into pages on this site. Each has been provided with the link to the particular page.
On each page the index image has been displayed so that it can be pinned using Pinterest. Pinterest is a service that allows images to be shared (pinned) on virtual image boards set up by users.
Comments about my pages can be posted on Facebook and Twitter via icons at the bottom of the page.
