Fo Guang Shan Temple - Taiwan

Fo Guang Shan Temple is on the outskirts of Kaohsiung City in Dashu District. The Fo Guang Big Buddha, depicting a Sakyamuni Buddha, sits on a 10 meter high seat and is 40 meters high. It was completed in 2011, after a year of casting ultising 1800 tonnes of metal.
