Ein Gedi - Dead Sea

Looking over the Dead Sea to Jordan at Ein Gedi. A basin in the Jordan rift valley, the Dead Sea is feed mainly by the Jordan River. Water leaves by evaporation, concentrating the salt level to more than nine times that of sea water. The density of the brine allows people to naturally float. With an elevation of 430 metres below sea level it is the lowest spot on Earth
