Foot bath at Jozankei Onsen near Sapporo, Hokkaido. An onsen is a natural hot water bath. The first hot-spring bath opened in 1866. Foot baths are free. There are several onsen in Jozankei, most associated with hotels. However many can be visited on a casual basis.
