Naga Monument - Nakhon Phanom

Dusk on the Mekong Waterfront in Nakhon Phanom.The Naga Monument, also known as Phaya Si Sattanakharat, installed in 2016, is 15 meters high. A traditional local belief was that naga, a mythical creature, part-serpent and part-human from Hindu mythology, lived in the Mekong River.
