Rock-carved Standing Buddha - Andong

This huge Buddha body carved out of a 12.4 metre rock face is located at Icheon-dong about 2.5 kilometer outside of Andong. The head was carved separately and then placed on the body. The features on the rock face are believe to date from the 11th century ie from the Goryeo Dynasty.
