Berlin Cathedral - Berlin
Berlin Cathedral started as a Catholic place of worship in the 15th century. The current Protestent church was constructed between 1894 to 1905 on the orders of German Emperor William II.
Built in a lavish neo-Renaissance and Baroque style it was meant to be Germany's answer to St Peters in Rome and St Pauls in London. It also serves as a crypt for the Hohenzollern dynasty.
