Black Church - Brasov

Approaching Biserica Neagra or Black Church along Strada George Baritiu, Brasov, Romania. It was originally built as a Catholic Church, the work starting in the late 14th century. Lutheran services replaced Catholic ones because of the Protestant Reformation. It is called the Black Church because it was partially destroyed in a fire during an Habsburg invasions.
