Dolnarubangs in the
Stone Park on Jeju Island. Dolnarubangs are stone statues 1.82 metres in height. Placed face to face at the sides of castle gates they offered protection, prosperity and defined castle boundaries. They were also believed to keep the areas they watched free from evil spirits and misfortune.
