Wawel Royal Castle - Krakow

Wawel Royal Castle
Wawel Royal Castle is located on the Vistula River in Krakow. Established by King Casimir III the Great (reign 1333-1370), it has been built over many centuries. The various architectural styles, including Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque reflect the long building period. For centuries it was the residence of Polish kings. Today it is an art museum and a World Heritage Site.
