Princely Saint Nicholas Church - Lasi
Founded by Stephan the Great in 1492, the Princely Saint Nicholas Church is the oldest church in Lasi, Romania. Undergoing many changes over the centuries, it was renovated close to its original form between 1885 to 1897 by the French architect, Andra Lecomte du Nouy.
The exterior has 282 faces of saints and pre-Christian philosophers framed by brick arches. Also seen are enamelled discs reproducing Moldavian seals.
