Prešernov trg Square viewed from Ljubljana Castle. The square is named after the poet, France Prešeren (1800-1849). Best known for his sonnets, he wrote most of his poems in Slovenian. The pinkest building is a Franciscan church of the Annunciation. It was built in the 17th centry approximately two centuries before the square was developed.
