Fishing on Lake Geneva at Montreux. Montreux, population 26500, is located on the eastern side of Lake Geneva at the foot of the alps. Since the 19th century Montreux has attracted visitors because of its natural beauty and mild climate. The British rock group Queen recorded some of their songs there.
