Nurebotoke (Wet Jizo)
Zenkō-ji (善光寺, Temple of the Benevolent Light) is a Buddhist temple which was originally built in the 7th century. The city of Nagano grew up around it. Over the centuries the Main hallburnt down several times. So 1722 a seated bronze statue (Wet Jizo) was fabricated to serve as a prayer to protect the temple from fire.
