Vongburi House Museum - Phrae

Vongburi House Museum, made from teak wood, was formerly a grand private residence occupied by members of Phrae’s Royal Family. At the beginning of the 20th century Phrae province was one of the world's leading producers of teak. Local nobility became very rich from this trade and flaunted their wealth with displays of teak mansions.
