Misty Street - Sapa

Misty street in Sapa, Vietnam. The town is north-east of Hanoi, near the Chinese border. It has a large populaton of hill tribe peoples such as Hmong, Yao, Tay, Giay, Zai and Red Dzao. They are noted for their colourful clothing. Treks, from one to several days, into the countryside visiting hill tribe villages can be booked in Sapa. Most of the trekkers are foreigners. Vietnamese generally prefer to relax in their hotels.
