Vang Vieng - Laos

Vang Vieng lies on the Nam Song River, a four hour bus ride north of Vientiane. Its most notable feature is the surrounding karst topography and associated caves. This attracts outdoor orientated backpackers who come to participate in activities including tubing, kayaking, trekking, rock climbing and cave exploration.
