Monument to the Sun - Zadar

The Monument to the Sun, located on the westernpoint of the Zadar peninsula, consists of 300 multi-layer glass plates in a 22-meter circle. Underneath are photovoltaic solar modules. At night, lighting modules installed in the circle turn on producing a light show. It was designed by Croatian architect, Nikola Bašić, and opened in 2008.
