A light, singing and dance show is held each November in the Khmer temple Prasat Hin Phimai in the Isaan town of
Phimai. The temple was built in the reign of Suryavaraman I (1006-50). The story takes place during the reign of Jayavarman VII (1181 - 1220). I suspect historical accuracy is not a top priority.
